## About the Role

* 4-year degree in computer science or a related field
 * 3 years professional experience in C++ programming
 * Excellent interpersonal skills in communications, project management and problem solving skills, * Experience with Go and/or Python
 * Experience with FreeRTOS or embedded systems
 * Interest and/or experience in the smart home automation movement
 * Comfortable with frequent incremental code testing and deployment
 * Knowledge of an agile team environment and processes, along with tools like GIT and JIRA

Salary range: $100,000 - $140,000.

Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. and live in the Denver area

## Description

* Work in the Josh system to add core features across platform and application domains
 * Write device drivers and work on integrations with all our wonderful partners products
 * Regular communication, written and verbal, to work cross functionally with both backend and frontend development, UI/UX designers and others in the company
 * Identify system troubleshooting and deploy problem solving issues across platform and application domains
 * Contribute to architecture and recommend process improvements
