## Description

* Design, develop, and integrate cloud software solutions for distributed systems and large-scale compute clusters.
 * Support full-lifecycle agile software development, testing, optimization, and sustainment for complex technical products.
 * Implement infrastructure as code, containerized microservices, and big data integrations to ensure system scalability., * Perform requirements analysis, software design, development, integration, testing, and troubleshooting for high-performance distributed architectures.
 * Develop resilient software solutions in Java, Python, and C/C++ within UNIX/Linux environments, focusing on networking and multi-threading.
 * Build and deploy containerized microservices using Docker and container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes.
 * Automate deployments and configuration management using Infrastructure as Code tools including Ansible and Puppet.
 * Leverage CI/CD pipelines, source code management tools, and Agile practices to deliver reliable software enhancements.
 * Interface with distributed data stores and messaging systems, including Hadoop, Accumulo, NiFi, MongoDB, and ActiveMQ.
 * Conduct code reviews, establish SOPs, maintain technical documentation, and participate in rotating Tier III on-call and emergency surge support.

Telework:
This position is primarily performed on-site, with ad-hoc telework opportunities available for qualified team members on select tasks and research projects.
