## About the Role

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
 * 5+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering or related roles.
 * Proven experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
 * Strong understanding of networking, storage, and security principles.
 * Experience with monitoring tools (Nagios, Prometheus, Grafana) and automation tools (Ansible, Terraform).
 * Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
 * Strong communication and collaboration skills., * Certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Google Cloud Professional Engineer, or Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect.
 * Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
 * Knowledge of infrastructure as code (IaC) principles.

## Description

On-site in either Norfolk, VA or San Diego, CA or Honolulu, HI Our client seeks a Site Reliability Engineer to support the NMCI Service Management., * Ensure system reliability, scalability, and performance for critical applications and infrastructure.

 * Monitor and maintain system health, identifying and resolving issues proactively.
 * Implement and manage automated monitoring, alerting, and reporting tools.
 * Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless deployment and integration.
 * Optimize system configurations and resource allocation for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
 * Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
 * Provide technical support and guidance to other team members.
