## About the Role

* 4+ years of experience in back-end engineering (Rails, Python, or similar)
 * Experience with RESTful API development and microservices architecture
 * Familiarity with AWS (especially GovCloud) or other cloud infrastructure
 * Experience with databases (PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, or similar)
 * Knowledge of security, logging, and compliance in federal environments
 * Strong Git, CI/CD, and testing practices
 * Experience working in Agile development environments.
 * Bonus Qualifications:
 * Prior experience supporting the Department of Veterans Affairs
 * Familiarity with the VA.gov Design System and building forms on VA.gov
 * Understanding of 508 accessibility and Section 504 compliance

Requirements:

 * Must be a US Citizen and able to work domestically
 * Must be able to attain low-level security clearance

Education:

 * Bachelor's degree
