## About the Role

* Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows 10 and general Microsoft desktop operating systems.

 * Familiarity with Microsoft 365 or Office 365 administration and end user support.

 * Ability to perform basic troubleshooting for desktop, application, and access-related technical issues.

 * Experience managing service desk tickets and handling multiple support requests effectively.

 * Understanding of Windows Server environments and exposure to virtualization platforms such as VMware or Hyper-V.

## Description

Description We are looking for a Help Desk/Desktop Support Analyst to join a team in a contract-to-permanent position. This role supports day-to-day end user technology needs while helping maintain a stable Microsoft-based environment across desktop, server, and cloud platforms. The ideal candidate is comfortable resolving technical issues, managing support requests efficiently, and assisting with core infrastructure troubleshooting in a fast-paced setting., * Provide front-line technical support for end users by resolving hardware, software, and access-related issues across Windows-based environments.

 * Manage and prioritize incoming service desk requests, ensuring tickets are documented clearly and addressed within expected timeframes.

 * Support Microsoft 365 and Office 365 applications, including user setup, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.

 * Administer user accounts, permissions, and group policies within Active Directory to maintain secure and reliable access.

 * Assist with troubleshooting server, virtualization, and cloud-related issues across Windows Server, VMware, Hyper-V, and Azure environments.

 * Investigate basic to intermediate network connectivity problems and coordinate with broader IT teams when escalation is needed.

 * Diagnose infrastructure-related incidents, identify root causes, and implement practical solutions to restore service quickly.

 * Prepare workstations and support desktop systems, including Windows 10 configuration, software installation, and ongoing maintenance. Requirements * Hands-on experience supporting Active Directory in a user-facing IT support environment.
