Position Reappointment Required No, Senior Systems Integrator Performs development and maintenance of complex technical integrations, processes, and tools to solve problems. Installs, maintains and monitors infrastructure systems, in a way that aligns with industry and manufacturer best practices. Designs complex system architecture and integration projects, coordinates with other members of OIT from conception through to implementation. Provides mentoring and coaching to junior level staff within the systems integration and technology field. Reports on junior staff growth and development. Responsible for maintaining multiple department-specific technology systems in support of appropriate department goals and objectives. Works in tandem with the Information Security Officer to ensure systems are configured in compliance with IT security standards. Maintain system patches and upgrades. Ensure reliable backups and system redundancies of systems are in place. Ensures network IP address management systems, DHCP, DNS are properly configured for redundancy and fault tolerance and are properly documented and maintained. Utilizes specialized tools for advanced administrative tasks. Works with vendors in order to procure, and maintain licensing of multiple products to include but not limited to: VM Ware, L-Soft, Microsoft. Performs other duties as assigned. Designs and develops automated programs to perform maintenance and administrative tasks using current industry standards and manufacturers. Responsible for maintaining multiple department-specific technology systems in support of appropriate department goals and objectives. Works in tandem with the Information Security Officer to ensure systems are configured in compliance with IT security standards. Maintain system patches and upgrades. Ensure reliable backups and system redundancies of systems are in place.
