## About the Role

MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Application Developer to join our team! This is a remote position that requires travel to Clarksburg, WV once a year., * Bachelor's Degree and 4+ years of IT related experience; Master's Degree and 2+ years, Associate's degree and 6+ years or, High School Diploma and 8+ years of IT related experience is acceptable.

 * 4 + years' hands on development experience with Java in Linux environments.
 * 4+ years' hands on development experience with NodeJS and Angular.
 * 4+ years' experience developing in Agile / Scrum environment.
 * Development experience with AWS, AWS Lambdas or similar cloud technologies
 * Experience with codes, tests, debugs and maintaining software applications.
 * Ability to develop program logic for new applications or analyze existing applications.
 * Ability to analyze requirements and maintain test and integrate applications.
 * Ability to solve a range of problems independently.
 * Ability to travel to Clarksburg, WV one time per year

Security Clearance Requirements: Active/current Secret clearance is required.

Physical Requirements: Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.

## Description

* Develops, creates, and modifies general computer applications software or specialized utility programs.
 * Analyzes user needs and develops software solutions.
 * Designs or customizes software for client use with the aim of optimizing operational efficiency.
 * Analyzes and designs databases within an application area, working individually or coordinating database development as part of a team.
 * Researches, designs, develops, and tests operating systems-level software, compilers, and network distribution software for medical, industrial, military, communications, aerospace, business, scientific, and general computing applications.
 * Sets operational specifications and formulates and analyzes software requirements.
 * Designs embedded systems software.
 * Applies principles and techniques of computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis.
