* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
 * 7+ years of professional experience in data engineering, with 3+ years focused on Microsoft cloud data technologies
 * Strong expertise in T-SQL, including optimized queries, stored procedures, and views
 * Experience with data modeling best practices, dimensional modeling, and snapshotting techniques
 * Advanced SQL concepts knowledge (joins, aggregates, indexing, normalization)
 * Proven experience building enterprise-grade solutions with Azure Data Factory, Synapse, Data Lake Storage Gen2, Functions, and Logic Apps
 * Hands-on experience with Power BI, including DAX and M language
 * Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies, Git, and project management tools
 * Experience with data governance, compliance, and security requirements

## Description

* Design, build, and maintain scalable cloud-based data solutions within the Microsoft Azure ecosystem
 * Lead development of data pipelines and ETL/ELT workflows using Azure Data Factory
 * Develop and optimize data lake and warehouse architectures using Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2, Azure Synapse Analytics, and SQL Server
 * Implement robust data ingestion frameworks for structured and unstructured data sources
 * Design and enforce data governance standards and security policies using Azure Purview and SQL Server security roles
 * Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver semantic models, Power BI datasets, and dashboards
 * Manage CI/CD processes for data infrastructure using Azure DevOps
 * Provide technical mentorship to junior engineers
