The position requires strong analytical skills and the ability to handle extensive coordination across multiple internal customers and service providers. What You'll Do * Responsible for semi-monthly and bi-weekly multi-state US and Canada payroll and all equity related payroll tasks with strong service orientation and timely execution * Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations and multi-state employment requirements * Drive process improvements and automation within payroll operations * Partner closely with Employee Success, Accounting, IT, and external vendors to resolve any issues, maintain data integrity and improve payroll operations * Partner with Employee Success team on employee matters such as new hires, terminations and leaves of absence * Lead and develop a remote payroll team, fostering accountability, cross-training, and strong operational coverage * Stay current on evolving payroll compliance requirements * Partner with accounting team on payroll journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations * Responsible for payroll related SOX controls and audit requests, * If moving to the interview stage, our process is as follows: 1.
