You will have a proven ability to manage competing priorities, coordinate technical activity, and ensure IT services consistently meet the needs of the wider business. You will be highly organised and comfortable taking ownership of issues from initial identification through to resolution. Strong communication skills will be essential, as you will work closely with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, translating business requirements into practical IT solutions and ensuring expectations are effectively managed. Applicants should have previous experience overseeing IT support or service operations, working with internal technical teams, and managing relationships with external suppliers or technology partners. A broad understanding of infrastructure, applications, systems, and IT service environments will be beneficial. Given the organisation's current period of change, experience of legacy system development, technology transformation, system improvement, or business change projects would be particularly advantageous. Experience working with structured service management or delivery methodologies, including ITIL, Agile, Scrum, Kanban, or similar approaches, would also be beneficial. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced IT professional to take ownership of service delivery and operational performance while playing an important role in the organisation's wider technology transformation. Working closely with internal stakeholders, technical teams, and external suppliers, you will help ensure that day-to-day IT services remain effective while supporting the business as it develops and improves its systems and processes.
