debugging Linux systems for embedded hardware Developing embedded software using C and C++ Supporting Linux kernel, bootloader and device-driver integration Developing software for microprocessors and System-on-Chip devices Integrating hardware interfaces, sensors and communications peripherals Supporting software-defined radio and digital signal-processing applications Rapidly developing prototypes and pre-production systems Producing technical requirements, architecture and design documentation Supporting system integration, verification and technical trials Working directly with customers to understand requirements and propose effective technical solutionsThe Ideal Embedded Software EngineerYoull ideally have at least three years commercial embedded software experience, including hands-on experience with Yocto and embedded Linux.Relevant experience may include: Yocto Project, BitBake and OpenEmbedded Developing Yocto recipes, layers and custom Linux images Embedded Linux development and
