## About the Role

* Student/in (w/m/d) an einer Universitaet oder Fachhochschule, bevorzugte Studienrichtungen: Informatik, Robotik, Mechatronik oder Wirtschaftsinformatik
 * Fundierte Python-Kenntnisse sowie Grundkenntnisse in ML-Frameworks (PyTorch oder TensorFlow) erforderlich
 * Erfahrung oder starkes Interesse an Robotersimulation (MuJoCo bevorzugt) und/oder Robotik-Lernframeworks (z. B. LeRobot, OpenVLA)
 * Fliessendes Englisch erforderlich; Deutsch von Vorteil
 * Selbststaendige, hands-on Arbeitsweise in einem angewandten Forschungsumfeld. Als Plus: Projekterfahrung in Robotik, Simulation oder KI/ML; Versionskontrolle mit Git
 * Die Arbeit im SAP Walldorf oder KIT Karlsruhe Buero ist erforderlich (mindestens einmal pro Woche)

Das SAP Sustainability Innovation Forschungsteam ist Teil des SAP Sustainability-Bereichs und treibt Forschung und Innovation an der Schnittstelle von KI, autonomer Robotik und Nachhaltigkeit voran. Diese Stelle ist Teil einer Industrie-Promotionskooperation zwischen SAP und dem Intuitive Robots Lab (IAR) des KIT, geleitet von TT-Prof. Rudolf Lioutikov. Du arbeitest direkt mit dem Doktoranden Chima Nmerenu (SAP/KIT) zusammen und erhaeltst Einblick in SAPs Enterprise-AI-Faehigkeiten und das hochmoderne Robotiklabor des KIT.
