Our partner is looking for a Software Engineer - Platform based in Spain. You will join a high-performance engineering team building the core infrastructure behind a globally distributed database platform handling massive-scale workloads. This role focuses on designing and operating highly reliable, low-latency systems that power mission-critical data infrastructure used by some of the world's largest applications. You will work on complex distributed systems challenges, contributing directly to database performance, scalability, and reliability at scale. The environment is highly technical, collaborative, and autonomy-driven, where engineers are trusted to take ownership of large parts of the platform. You will also engage with users and customers to translate real-world needs into robust, production-grade engineering solutions. This is a role for engineers who thrive in deep system work, enjoy debugging complex problems, and care about building high-quality infrastructure. You will have direct impact on a platform serving extremely high-throughput workloads across global cloud environments. Accountabilities: Design, build, and maintain core backend systems powering a distributed database platform at large scale.
