The Senior Engineer Software will contribute to platform development, production support, troubleshooting, automation, and continuous improvement using the latest PCTY tech stack. Having previous platform building/support experience is a plus. Working with WebPlatforms, SQL, Snowflake, MongoDB, and on-prem data environments is preferred., * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field * Minimum 5 years of software engineering experience * Proven track record of leading significant technical initiatives * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities * Collaborative mindset with ability to influence peers * Adaptable approach to changing requirements and priorities Technical Skills * Strong proficiency in software development languages and frameworks * Demonstrated experience with agile development methodologies * Knowledge of performance optimization techniques * C#, SQL, or a similar modern, object-oriented programming language * Deep understanding of system architecture principles Physical requirements * Ability to sit for extended periods: The role requires sitting at a desk or workstation for long periods, typically 7-8 hours a day. * Use of computer and phone systems: The employee must be able to operate a computer, use phone systems, and type. This includes using multiple software programs and inquiries simultaneously. ## Description This is a fully remote position, allowing you to work from home or location of record within the U.S. with no in-office requirements. You must be available five days per week during designated work hours. The work arrangement for this role is subject to change based on business needs and individual performance. This may include adjustments to on-site requirements or schedule expectations, as necessary., Data Insights team is rapidly evolving into a platform development team with the DataViz launch, PDP semantic layer development, AI Ignite support, and integration with Answer & Insights. Data Insights is looking for the Senior Engineer to join our team. This role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys building and improving shared platforms while taking ownership of their reliability, usability, and ongoing support., The below represents the primary duties of the position, others may be assigned as needed.
