This is a highly hands-on technical role for someone who can independently take integration requirements from Finance and Accounting stakeholders and translate them into scalable Workday solutions. You will own integrations throughout the full lifecycle-from requirements and design through development, testing, deployment, troubleshooting, and post-go-live support. The team is lean, highly collaborative, and currently works fully onsite in Palo Alto. Due to the complexity of the implementation and the importance of real-time collaboration and problem-solving, this position will also be onsite five days per week. What You'll Do * Design, develop, test, deploy, and support complex Workday Financials integrations. * Build integrations using Workday Studio, EIB, Workday Web Services/APIs, XML, and XSLT. * Partner directly with Finance, Accounting, IT, and technical stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into integration solutions. * Develop and support integrations involving financial data such as General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, supplier payments, banking, trial balances, aging, and other financial transactions. * Create and maintain custom Workday Financials reports, calculated fields, and data extracts supporting integrations and business requirements. * Manage integration security, including appropriate access and security configurations. * Support data conversion and data-loading activities using Workday integration tools, including EIBs. * Integrate Workday Financials with third-party financial systems, banking platforms, APIs, and other enterprise applications. * Troubleshoot complex integration issues and support testing, go-live, and post-production stabilization. * Maintain technical documentation and follow established integration patterns while identifying opportunities for improvements.
