## About the Role

* Strong commercial Data Science experience within insurance or broader financial services is essential

 * Experience building predictive models and machine learning solutions that deliver measurable business value

 * Advanced Python skills for machine learning, statistical modelling and data analysis

 * Strong SQL skills and experience working with large and complex datasets

 * Understanding of insurance domains such as pricing, claims, underwriting, fraud, risk or customer analytics

 * Experience engaging with stakeholders and translating business challenges into analytical solutions

 * Exposure to cloud-based data environments and deploying models into production is beneficial

## Description

As a Senior Data Scientist, you will lead the delivery of high-value analytics and machine learning projects, working closely with stakeholders across the business.

Responsibilities include:

 * Developing and deploying predictive models to support underwriting, claims, pricing and customer-focused initiatives

 * Applying machine learning and statistical techniques to solve complex business challenges

 * Leading end-to-end Data Science projects from problem definition through to deployment and monitoring

 * Partnering with business stakeholders to identify opportunities for data-driven decision-making

 * Presenting insights and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences

 * Supporting best practice across modelling, experimentation and model governance

 * Mentoring junior team members and contributing to the growth of the wider Data Science function
