## About the Role

We are looking for a strong Java Consultant with excellent technical capabilities to join a banking technology team working on high-performance applications.

Key requirements:

 * Strong Core Java development experience
 * Excellent knowledge of concurrency and multithreading
 * Experience building high-performance / low-latency applications
 * Equities or Fixed Income experience preferred
 * Low-latency experience across other asset classes will also be considered
 * Strong software engineering and problem-solving skills
 * Financial services experience highly desirable
 * Prior algo-trading or pricing experience in any asset classes
