## About the Role

Must-haves

 * Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline
 * Significant experience delivering software solutions at Principal Engineer level
 * Strong expertise in TypeScript, JavaScript, and Angular or comparable modern front-end technologies
 * Experience building backend services using Node.js or similar technologies
 * Proven experience designing and developing complex distributed systems
 * Deep understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and engineering best practices
 * Experience working with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS
 * Experience developing and deploying microservices-based applications
 * Strong understanding of high-availability, scalability, and performance optimization concepts
 * Experience working within Agile software development environments

Nice to have

 * Experience with Swift and the Vapor framework for server-side API development
 * Experience building APIs with technologies such as C# or Java
 * Experience with NoSQL databases including Couchbase or MongoDB
 * Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, and modern DevOps practices

## Description

* Lead the design and development of large-scale software solutions that support critical business capabilities
 * Shape technical architecture and engineering standards across multiple products and teams
 * Build modern, cloud-native applications using scalable and resilient design principles
 * Contribute across the full technology stack, from user interfaces to APIs and backend services
 * Mentor engineers and provide technical guidance on complex development initiatives
 * Drive best practices in software quality, performance, security, and maintainability
 * Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, and Architecture teams to translate business needs into technical solutions
 * Support continuous improvement through modern DevOps and Agile engineering practices
