## About the Role

* A degree or equivalent qualification in Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, or a related discipline, or a minimum of 2 years' experience within a manufacturing or production environment.
 * GCSEs or equivalent in English and Maths at Grade C or above.
 * Experience working with ERP/MRP systems, such as SAP, Oracle, SIGMANEST, or similar.
 * Strong IT skills, particularly in Excel for tracking and reporting.
 * Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
 * A good understanding of manufacturing processes and data systems.
 * Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
 * Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
 * A proactive, adaptable, and results-focused approach.

## Description

Our busy Engineering client in the Cookstown area require a Manufacturing Systems Engineer to join a busy Production Control team within a growing manufacturing environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and improving production control systems, processes, and procedures to maximise safety, quality, and delivery, while reducing manufacturing costs., * Maintain and improve production control systems.

 * Ensure accuracy of BOMs, routings, and inventory data.
 * Support ERP/MRP system performance and troubleshooting.
 * Drive continuous improvement using Lean principles
 * Analyse production data to identify opportunities for improvement.
 * Support material flow and PFEP activities.
 * Work closely with Production, Engineering, and Quality teams to resolve issues.
 * Support root cause analysis and corrective actions.
 * Coordinate engineering changes into production.
 * Provide day-to-day technical and operational support to production teams.
 * Develop and maintain standard processes and procedures.
 * Support monthly inventory control activities.
