## About the Role

support the delivery of innovative automated systems from design through to commissioning. The role offers a hybrid working arrangement with significant exposure to customer sites across the UK and EMEA region. Responsibilities * Lead controls engineering activities across automation projects. * Design and develop PLC software, HMI and SCADA systems. * Perform software testing, emulation and system validation. * Interpret electrical schematics and technical design documentation. * Ensure systems comply with relevant machinery and safety standards. * Produce project documentation including specifications, risk assessments and test procedures. * Support commissioning activities and provide end-user training. * Mentor and support other engineers within the project team. Requirements * Degree, HNC or HND in Electrical, Controls, Mechatronics or a related Engineering discipline. * Strong experience with Siemens S7 and/or TIA Portal. * Proven background in industrial automation and
controls engineering. * Advanced understanding of PLC development tools and software testing. * Experience with industrial communication networks such as Profinet, Profibus, ASi or Ethernet/IP. * Ability to lead engineering activities autonomously and support colleagues on projects. * Full UK Driving Licence and willingness to travel up to 60% of the year.
