## About the Role

We're seeking an experienced Android Developer to join a growing technology team delivering innovative solutions within the Defence sector. Must be either SC Cleared or willing to undergo (sole UK Nationality), * Commercial experience developing Android applications using Kotlin

 * Strong understanding of Android SDK, mobile architecture patterns and best practices.
 * Experience working within Agile development teams.
 * Knowledge of REST APIs, CI/CD pipelines and version control tools such as Git.
 * Excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for delivering high-quality software.

Desirable

 * Experience within Defence, Aerospace or other highly regulated environments
 * Experience implementing backend solutions using either Rust, Python, or Go, ensuring robustness and scalability (e.g. writing web APIs)
 * Exposure to cloud technologies, DevOps practices or cross-platform mobile development.

* Designing, developing and maintaining Android applications using modern development practices.
 * Collaborating with cross-functional teams including software engineers, testers and product stakeholders.
 * Contributing to application architecture, performance optimisation and code quality initiatives.
 * Supporting the full software development lifecycle from concept through to deployment.
