## About the Role

* Strong commercial experience in data modelling within modern data environments
 * Experience designing conceptual, logical, and physical data models
 * Strong understanding of dimensional modelling methodologies, including Kimball and/or Data Vault
 * Experience working with cloud-based data platforms, ideally within Azure environments
 * Understanding of data architecture principles and a genuine interest in developing into an architectural role
 * Experience working closely with Data Engineers, Analytics teams, and business stakeholders
 * Exposure to Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, Python, PySpark, or dbt would be beneficial
 * Experience with data modelling tools such as Sparx EA, Sparx Enterprise Architect, Enterprise Architect, ER/Studio, ERwin, Erwin Data Modeler, PowerDesigner, SAP PowerDesigner, or comparable modelling platforms
 * Understanding of Medallion Architecture or modern data platform design principles would be advantageous
 * Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences

You'll play a key role in establishing data standards, supporting a modern cloud-based data platform, and developing your career towards Data Architecture within a highly collaborative environment., * Design and develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models

 * Support the definition and maintenance of enterprise data modelling standards
 * Translate business requirements into scalable and effective data structures
 * Apply dimensional modelling methodologies including Kimball and Data Vault
 * Collaborate with Data Engineers, Analysts, Architects, and Governance teams
 * Support the development of modern cloud-based data platforms and reporting solutions
 * Contribute to data transformation and modernisation initiatives
 * Document data structures, relationships, metadata, and modelling artefacts
 * Promote architecture best practice and data governance standards across the organisation
 * Develop architecture knowledge and progress towards a Data Architect career path
