This role sits at the critical intersection of finance, data, and product development. You will be a key liaison between the business, data engineering, and product teams, ensuring the integrity and usability of our core financial data assets. Your deep understanding of financial data, specifically in structured finance (e.g., ABS, RMBS, CLOs) or corporate finance will be essential in shaping high-quality data products that serve our global client base., Financial Data Analysis: + Analyze, interpret, and validate complex financial datasets related to structured finance and corporate credit. + Understand the context and business logic behind the data, including how it is sourced, transformed, and utilized by analysts and clients. + Identify trends, anomalies, and inconsistencies within large datasets. Data Quality & Stewardship: + Serve as a primary guardian of data quality for assigned domains. + Design, document, and execute systematic data quality checks and validation rules in collaboration with data engineers. + Proactively identify data issues, trace root causes, and manage resolutions through to completion. + Work directly with business teams and data providers to cleanse, standardize, and enhance raw data. Product & Engineering Support: + Act as the key business subject matter expert for the data engineering and product development teams. + Translate business requirements into clear, actionable specifications for data product enhancements. + Assist in user acceptance testing (UAT) for new data feeds, tools, and product features. + Contribute to the documentation of data dictionaries, lineage, and quality metrics.
