## About the Role

+ University degree in Business Administration (ADE), Economics, or a related field.
 + Desirable experience in accounting, preferably in a multinational company.
 + Knowledge of basic accounting principles (IFRS / Spanish GAAP).
 + Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and GSuite (GSheet/GDocs).
 + Experience with ERP systems (SAP FI is a plus).
 + Analytical capacity and attention to detail.
 + Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
 + Excellent written and oral communication skills.
 + Advanced level of English.

## Description

We are looking for a General Accountant to join our team at Airbus Operations SL in Getafe (Madrid). The candidate will be part of the GL team, producing financial records with integrity and accuracy., + Prepare and analyze financial statements (balance sheet and income statement) and report to the Airbus Group.

 + Record and reconcile accounting transactions.
 + Perform monthly and annual accounting closings.
 + Ensure compliance with internal accounting policies.
 + Collaborate with internal and external audits.
 + Identify and resolve accounting discrepancies.
 + Participate in the continuous improvement of accounting processes (including with the Global Services Center).
 + Proactively identify bottlenecks and develop intelligent, automated solutions that streamline our core finance processes.
 + Act as a catalyst for innovation within the departament by continuously proposing, testing and implementing fresh ideas to modernize traditional financial reporting using tools.
