## About the Role

Hands-on Epic MyChart build, configuration, testing, upgrade, and production-support experience.

-Current Epic certification or demonstrated certification history in MyChart or a closely related Epic patient engagement application. Candidate must be eligible to maintain required credentials.

-Three or more years of relevant experience with a degree, or five or more years of relevant experience without a degree.

-At least one year of experience and certification in the supported IT specialty or application area.

-Ability to translate clinical and business workflows into technical requirements and reliable application design.

-Experience diagnosing complex issues, managing changes, documenting solutions, and collaborating across technical and operational teams.

-Strong written and verbal communication, prioritization, independent judgment, and stakeholder management. -MyChart activation, account recovery, authentication, MFA, proxy access, Hello World, Hello Patient, Epic Video Client and mobile workflows.

-Online, open, direct, ticketed, and conversational scheduling; Fast Pass or wait-list workflows; appointment notifications.

-eCheck-In, questionnaires, test results, patient messaging, bedside messaging, video visits, and patient communications.

-Hands-on experience with Epic Care Companion, Welcome, MyChart Bedside, Campaigns, and Community Connect.

-Epic release upgrades, regression testing, change control, production validation, incident and problem management.

-Patient-facing AI or virtual assistants, chatbot integrations, live-agent handoff, and message routing or categorization.

-Healthcare experience involving HIPAA, patient privacy, consumer access, ambulatory workflows, or revenue-cycle touchpoints.

-Additional Epic certifications in Ambulatory, Prelude, or Cadence are a plus

## Description

Configure, build, test, deploy, and optimize Epic MyChart and related patient engagement capabilities.

-Assess current and future-state workflows; document requirements, decisions, test plans, build specifications, and support procedures.

-Analyze Epic upgrades, release notes, patches, and new functionality; coordinate testing and implementation with application and operational partners.

-Investigate and resolve escalated incidents, defects, access issues, integration failures, and recurring problems; participate in the team's on-call rotation.

-Partner with Cadence, Prelude, Ambulatory, Resolute, security, interface, mobile, web, clinical, and operational teams where workflows cross applications.

-Lead smaller enhancements or components of larger initiatives and communicate scope, dependencies, risks, decisions, and status clearly.

-Protect patient privacy and apply approved security, change-management, testing, and production-support practices.
