Technical Expertise - Exhibits/applies extensive or in-depth specialized knowledge, skills, and judgment to accomplish a task., * 7+ years of experience in structured cabling, data center storage area networking (SAN), or network infrastructure technical sales * Bachelor's Degree in engineering, computer science or related field * Exceptional knowledge of data center optical cabling, structured cabling, and data center transmission topologies; as well as the underlying link-layer standards (Ethernet, InfiniBand, and Fibre Channel) * RCDD or DCDC certification preferred, experience in structured cable infrastructure design required * Proficiency in Microsoft Visio to support design according to TIA942 standards; knowledge of AutoCAD or other engineering applications a plus * Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel and PowerPoint * Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities, while demonstrating strong attention to detail and appreciation of deadlines is essential * Demonstrate strong analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills; be a process-oriented thinker * Exhibit strong teamwork and interpersonal skills * Exceptional communication skills, both verbally and written * Must be able to adapt to a high-pressure, continuously changing environment * Demonstrate enthusiasm and commitment to the job and the company core values ## Description We are seeking a dynamic Data Center Infrastructure Architect to develop and maintain high-value customer relationships throughout our sales process. Reporting to the Director of Data Center Architecture, this technical role will be focused on accelerating sales, guiding customer interactions as a technical lead, and providing thought leadership through a solution approach to layer-one cable infrastructure. This role requires the ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders as well as build trusted relationships with customers.
