Example problems include modeling and integrating medical technologies to support advanced field-forward care concepts; and system architecture development for human physiological, cognitive, and psychological performance monitoring systems to support specific mission scenarios. This often includes the development of models and simulations in coordination with stakeholder communities to incorporate operational constraints, requirements, and concepts of operation. The staff member may also support the design, prototyping, integration, and field testing of prototype health & performance systems. Staff members work in a team environment to study a broad range of technical questions of importance to human health & performance. Systems engineering activities include developing, flowing down and tracking requirements, architecting systems, interface specification, planning and leading verification and validation activities, and identifying risks and defining risk mitigation strategies. Model Based System Engineering will be applied to both traditional system engineering processes and in support of system analysis problems. ## Related Videos - [Model Based Systems Engineering in an Agile Product Development Process](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/68-model-based-systems-engineering-in-an-agile-product-development-process) - [Data Science in Retail](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/586-data-science-in-retail) - [Automate everything via NodeJS and Puppeteer](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/322-automate-everything-via-nodejs-and-puppeteer) - [Why Your Best Mediors Never Become Seniors (And How to Fix It)](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/2108-why-your-best-mediors-never-become-seniors-and-how-to-fix-it) - [Breaking the Hardware Mindset: Overcoming Barriers to System-Level Innovation](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1635-breaking-the-hardware-mindset-overcoming-barriers-to-system-level-innovation) - [Automated Driving - Why is it so hard to introduce](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/628-automated-driving-why-is-it-so-hard-to-introduce) ## Related Articles - [How We Built a Worry-Free System That Runs for 10+ Years – And What We’d Do Again](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/751-how-we-built-a-worry-free-system-that-runs-for-10-years-and-what-we-d-do-again) - [What is Software Engineering?](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/289-what-is-software-engineering) - [From developer to manager – what does it take to become an engineering manager?](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/42-from-developer-to-manager-what-does-it-take-to-become-an-engineering-manager) - [Software Engineer Career: Things You Should Know](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/143-software-engineer-career-things-you-should-know) - [Software Engineer Salary London](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/252-software-engineer-salary-london) - [What Are Large Language Models?](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/304-what-are-large-language-models)
