Preferred Qualifications * Experience administering Microsoft 365 environments. * Previous experience working for or alongside a Managed Service Provider (MSP). * Experience developing or improving technical escalation and support processes. * PowerShell scripting and automation experience. * Experience with infrastructure automation, configuration management, or DevOps practices. * Practical programming or scripting experience applied to infrastructure and IT operations. * Experience working with external vendors or managed service partners. ## Description We are seeking an experienced Senior Systems Engineer to serve as a critical Level 3 escalation resource within the IT organization. This position will operate beyond the existing L1/L2 support structure, providing advanced troubleshooting, systems engineering, and infrastructure expertise for complex technical issues. The role combines systems engineering, cloud infrastructure, and DevOps practices, with a strong emphasis on Microsoft Azure and Azure networking. In addition to resolving escalated issues, this individual will contribute to infrastructure improvements, automation initiatives, and broader engineering projects. This is an opportunity for a hands-on engineer who enjoys solving complex technical problems while also helping improve the organization's overall infrastructure and support capabilities. The position is initially structured as a contract opportunity with the potential to transition into a direct-hire role as headcount becomes available.
