Strong hands-on experience with Databricks

Advanced PySpark development experience

Hands-on experience within AWS environments

Strong SQL development and optimization skills

Experience designing, building, and maintaining ETL pipelines

Experience creating and supporting scalable data pipelines

Strong understanding of data architecture and data engineering best practices Experience with AWS KMS and security best practices

API integration experience

CI/CD pipeline experience

Git version control experience

Experience with AJEX or Transfix platforms (highly preferred, not required)

Transportation, logistics, or supply chain industry experience

## Description

Insight Global is seeking a Data Engineer for a top logistics client. This individual will be responsible for building and maintaining scalable cloud-based data solutions with a strong focus on Databricks, PySpark, Python, AWS, SQL, and ETL development. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience engineering data pipelines, optimizing data workflows, and supporting enterprise-scale data platforms. This role will partner closely with architecture, analytics, and business teams to deliver reliable, high-performance data solutions in a fast-paced environment. Experience with AWS security services, API integrations, CI/CD practices, and logistics platforms such as AJEX or Transfix is a plus.
