Agent guide: [/agents.md](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/agents.md). --- # Senior Product Manager Residential Electronic Systems - **Company:** GENERAC POWER SYSTEMS INC - **Location:** Pewaukee, WI, United States - **Experience:** Expert - **Contract:** Permanent contract - **Skills:** Firmware, Systems Integration, Network Switches - **Published:** September 24, 2026 - **Apply:** https://dejobs.org/x/x/1251850999B443FB9F6F33B7A39D6A95/job/ ## About the Role * Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent experience in Product, Marketing, Engineering, or related Business field. * 5+ years of professional experience including at least 3+ years of experience in product management or similar product development within a technical function * Ability to understand and communicate system level behavior or interactions (e.g. grid, power generation, backup power, or load control) Preferred Requirements: * Product management experience with ownership of product requirements, priorities, roadmaps, and lifecycle decisions. * Experience working with technical products that combine hardware, firmware, software, controls, or connected systems. * Ability to understand and communicate systems-level interactions among the utility grid, backup power generation, battery storage, load management, and residential or commercial electrical systems. * Experience partnering with engineering teams and translating customer or business needs into actionable technical requirements. * Experience in power electronics, energy systems, energy management, residential or commercial electrical products, distributed energy resources, or a related industry. * Strong analytical, problem-solving, prioritization, and decision-making skills. * Clear written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to align technical and nontechnical stakeholders. * Ability to operate effectively in a collaborative, cross-functional environment and adapt to evolving product and market needs. * Willingness to work in person with the team, While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear; and use hands to manipulate objects or controls. The employee is regularly required to stand and walk. On occasion, the incumbent may be required to stoop, bend, or reach above the shoulders. The employee must occasionally lift up to 25 pounds. Specific conditions of this job are typical of frequent and continuous computer-based work requiring periods of sitting, close vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
