## About the Role

* Strong expertise in network infrastructure including routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and related device management.
 * Strong expertise in server and hosting environments including Windows Server, Linux/Unix administration, and virtualization platforms such as VMware and Hyper-V.
 * Hands-on experience with credential management across diverse network and server device types.
 * Deep understanding of network protocols including SNMP v1/v2c/v3, SSH, Telnet, WMI, WinRM, and NetBIOS.
 * Experience troubleshooting connectivity and authentication issues in enterprise environments.
 * Familiarity with IP address management, network segmentation, and firewall rules that impact device accessibility.
 * Experience with infrastructure discovery or asset scanning tools.
 * Familiarity with CMDB concepts and configuration item classification.
 * Experience working within ITIL-aligned processes.
 * Background in enterprise-scale environments with diverse and heterogeneous device types.
 * Scripting skills in PowerShell or Python.
 * Ability to work independently, triage infrastructure issues, and escalate appropriately.
 * CompTIA Network+ or equivalent certification.

Desired:

 * Prior experience with ServiceNow ITOM Visibility (Discovery).

## Description

* Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve credential issues across network devices and server infrastructure including SNMP, SSH, WMI, and WinRM.
 * Manage and validate access to network and hosting environments to ensure complete infrastructure scanning coverage.
 * Triage and diagnose connectivity and authentication errors across routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and server platforms.
 * Collaborate with network and hosting teams to maintain accurate credential stores and access policies.
 * Support service graph connector configurations to ensure proper data flow from infrastructure sources.
 * Manage and optimize discovery schedules to align with infrastructure maintenance windows and scanning requirements.
 * Document credential management processes, known infrastructure issues, and resolution procedures.
 * Provide subject matter expertise on network topology, device configurations, and server environments.
 * Support broader ServiceNow Modernization program objectives as needed.
