## About the Role

* Previous experience working within a finance environment, with a good understanding of finance processes, reporting and controls
 * Strong Power BI experience - DAX, data modelling and dashboard development
 * Proven finance transformation/process improvement experience
 * Strong VBA/Excel skills and experience writing complex macros
 * Practical Python experience for automation, data analysis or reporting
 * Experience delivering technology-enabled change and automation projects
 * Confident stakeholder and project management skills

A really varied role combining Finance, Data, BI, Automation and Transformation, with the opportunity to genuinely shape how the finance function operates as the business continues to grow

## Description

I'm working with a growing, multi-site business looking for a BI Manager to join the team in a newly created, standalone role while they go through a finance transformation.

This is a great opportunity for someone who has worked within a finance environment and understands finance processes, but is also highly tech/data-focused, with ownership of Power BI, automation and a range of transformation projects.

The role:

 * Own and develop the Power BI reporting environment, including data models, DAX and dashboards
 * Lead finance automation and process improvement using Power BI, Power Query, VBA, Python and AI
 * Deliver transformation projects across Finance, including Sage 200, Purchase Order systems and AI/OCR invoice processing
 * Turn complex financial and operational data into meaningful commercial insight
 * Work closely with Finance, Operations and Commercial teams to identify opportunities for improvement
 * Act as the finance SME for automation, digital transformation and data-driven ways of working
