## Description

American Honda Motor Co., Inc. seeks a Principal Data and Ontology Architect to lead enterprise data architecture across our North American manufacturing and mobility operations. In this role, you will define and govern data and knowledge models, design scalable data and analytics platforms, and align ontologies to support product, supply chain, quality, and customer solutions. Partner with R&D, IT, and business leaders to drive data standardization, metadata management, and interoperability. Champion innovation, coach technical teams, and ensure data architectures support safety, sustainability, and continuous improvement goals., * Lead enterprise data and ontology architecture strategy for North American operations

 * Design and govern semantic models, knowledge graphs, and reference data
 * Define data standards, metadata, and master data management practices
 * Collaborate with R&D, manufacturing, supply chain, and IT stakeholders
 * Architect scalable data platforms to support analytics and AI use cases
 * Ensure data quality, interoperability, and lineage across systems
 * Evaluate and select data, modeling, and ontology tools and platforms
 * Provide technical leadership and mentorship to data and engineering teams
 * Align data architecture with security, compliance, and governance policies
 * Drive innovation to support safety, sustainability, and product quality goals
