## About the Role

* Minimum 10+ years of IT experience, with significant experience in Banking and Financial Services production/application support.

 * Strong hands-on expertise in Assembler, COBOL, JCL, VSAM, CICS, SAS, and other z/OS Mainframe technologies and applications.

 * Proven experience supporting business-critical banking applications in a production environment, including incident management, problem management, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis.

 * Strong understanding of Mainframe batch processing, CICS online transactions, VSAM files, JCL/job scheduling, application interfaces, and production deployments.

 * Experience working in a 24x7 support model, handling high-priority incidents, meeting SLAs, and coordinating with development, infrastructure, and business teams.

 * Candidate must be technically very strong, hands-on, analytical, and capable of independently diagnosing and resolving complex Mainframe issues.

 * Experience in Wealth & Asset Management or other banking applications is highly preferred.

 * Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively with business stakeholders, application teams, offshore/onshore support teams, and leadership.
