As our Data & Analytics Manager, you'll be UWGK's in-house data advisor. You won't own anyone's systems. Instead, you'll work across every department to get more value from the data we already collect. You'll run analyses, build dashboards, and help Directors and Program Managers decide what to measure and why. You'll also strengthen how data moves between our systems and help staff across the organization get comfortable using it. Your work will shape reports for leadership, our Board, and our funders, and it will help show how UWGK changes lives in Greater Knoxville. What you'll do Turn data into insight. Do statistical analysis and modeling on department data to find patterns and trends that inform decisions. Build and maintain dashboards and visualizations that non-technical audiences can understand. Look for ways to streamline or automate recurring reports. Advise on data governance and architecture. Review existing data models and recommend improvements (conceptual, logical, and physical, including entity-relationship diagrams) that improve accuracy, consistency, and security. Advise departments and the Executive Leadership Team on data standards and best practices. Connect departments. Be a thought partner to Directors and Managers. Work with Finance, Advancement, and Impact teams to ensure metrics, definitions, and reporting formats align across systems. Support compliance and quality. Monitor programmatic compliance with federal, state, and grant-specific requirements. Advise on continuous quality improvement (CQI) practices, and create guidance and training tools for departments, Primary Partners, and subcontracted entities. Measure and report impact. Work with Grant Administration, Finance, and Impact teams on grantor and external reporting. Combine internal and external data sources to better understand community needs and program performance. Write outcome and impact reports for leadership and the Board. Build data literacy. Teach staff how to access, interpret, and use reports and dashboards.
