## About the Role

* Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline with 8+ years of related experience; Master's degree with 6+ years; or PhD with 4+ years
 * Extensive experience developing object-oriented software using C#
 * Extensive experience with embedded software development
 * Experience developing software in a Windows environment
 * Experience using NUnit
 * Experience using Moq
 * Knowledge of SysUML
 * Familiarity with Atlassian tools and Agile software development practices
 * Ability to travel approximately 10%
 * Active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance required

Preferred Qualifications

 * Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
 * Previous experience supporting missile defense or other complex defense systems
 * Security+ certification
 * Active DoD Top Secret security clearance

## Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to support the development and integration of software for a complex defense system. This position will focus on object-oriented and embedded software development within a Windows-based environment.

The successful candidate will work as part of a multidisciplinary engineering team developing, testing, and integrating software that interfaces with complex hardware systems.

Responsibilities

 * Design, develop, integrate, and test object-oriented software using C#
 * Develop software for embedded and hardware-integrated applications
 * Develop and maintain unit tests using NUnit and Moq
 * Support software integration, troubleshooting, and defect resolution
 * Participate in Agile software development activities
 * Collaborate with systems, software, hardware, and test engineering teams
 * Support system-level integration and verification activities
 * Develop and maintain technical documentation
 * Support occasional travel for integration, testing, or other program needs
