The Test Engineer will join an established, high-performing team supporting two web-based applications with extensive user interfaces serving a large end-user population, as well as organizations utilizing the applications web services. The ideal candidate will have between 6-10 years of testing experience, both in performing manual testing of web-based applications as well as testing automation experience. The candidate will work on a team comprised of developers, database administrators, systems engineers, security engineers, as well as program managers and a scrum master. The ideal candidate will be familiar with agile principles, specifically scrum. The candidate will be joining a team of two testers currently supporting the applications, and will be expected to master testing on both applications to ensure that the applications have sufficient test coverage. The typical work week for the candidate is 40 hours (eight-hour days), with core hours being from 9 AM to 3 PM daily. The typical day for the testing candidate would be as follows: Work with the team's developers, DBAs, systems engineers, security engineers, program managers, and the other test team members on testing tasks assigned in Jira.
