## About the Role

To satisfy the Technical Expert criteria, candidates must meet one of the following education/experience paths:

 * Bachelor's Degree in a technical discipline plus 3+ years of relevant technical experience.
 * Associate's Degree in a technical discipline plus 7+ years of relevant technical experience.
 * A minimum of 11+ years of specialized, relevant technical experience in lieu of a degree.
 * Specialized Expertise: Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience dedicated to Infoblox NIOS administration and DDI protocols, advanced expertise on DNS

## Description

* You will work as a squad member within the DNS and NTP squad to provide an end-to-end infrastructure (design, develop, test, implement, operate and support) focused on DNS and NTP in an Agile Context
 * You will be located in La Hulpe as a full time employee.
 * You will work onsite, in La Hulpe, minimum of 2 days a week.
 * You will troubleshoot, resolve and report complex to mission critical problems in accordance with Service Level Agreements (SLA)
 * You will actively participate in the identification, design, development and testing of improvements for all aspects of the supported mission critical infrastructure
 * You will deploy infrastructure and software according to our change management processes
 * You will follow-up and document our services (systems/applications/procedures) as they evolve
 * You will propose and implement measures to prevent reoccurrence of problems and cases reported
 * You will interact and collaborate with other squads to ensure excellent customer satisfaction
 * You will challenge and drive improvements to our existing processes and procedures
 * You will develop and maintain technical documentation and prepare and give presentations to customers on systems
 * You will participate in a 24x7 on call rotation together with other squad members
 * You will participate in a weekend rotation to deploy or activate changes on the supported mission critical infrastructure, * Strong experience or expertise required in Infoblox DDI, ISC BIND. Red Hat Enterprise Linux system administration and NTP (any technology).
 * Advanced DNS Engineering: Manage authoritative and recursive DNS services, including Infoblox DDI NIOS, ISC BIND, complex traffic steering, and high-performance caching for mission-critical enclaves.
 * DHCP Infrastructure: Architect and manage robust DHCP services with failover associations to support diverse endpoint types across global theater sites.
 * Enterprise IPAM: Maintain the global IP Address Management (IPAM) database, ensuring accurate tracking, subnet allocation, and integration with cloud/virtualized environments.
 * DDI Security: Implement DNS security features, including Response Policy Zones (RPZ), DNS Firewall, and Infoblox TIDE to mitigate DNS-based malware and data exfiltration.
 * Automation & APIs: Utilize the Infoblox WAPI (REST API) to automate IP allocation, DNS record updates, and integration with orchestration tools like Ansible or Terraform.
 * Upgrade Operations: Plan and execute non-disruptive NIOS software upgrades and hardware refreshes across the global Grid.
 * Monitoring & Analytics: Leverage Infoblox Reporting and Analytics to identify network trends,troubleshoot resolution issues, and perform capacity planning.
 * Red Hat Linux Enterprise system administration, from initial setup to daily operations, including troubleshooting and recovery activities (expertise in keepalived is an asset)
 * Scripting, integration experience, development knowledge (Python/JavaScript/bask/korn shell/Bitbucket(GIT))
 * Automation & Orchestration tools (CI/CD tooling like Jenkins, Orchestration like Ansible)
 * Proven experience implementing, managing and maintaining security and network infrastructure for medium/large scale enterprise, including hardware/software firewalls and monitoring systems.
 * NTP protocol experience, including clients (chronyd, ntpd) and servers (chronyd, Meinberg, Microchip)
 * Familiar with protocol analyzer software (Wireshark) and able to interpret network traces
 * Knowledge in protocols, distributed technology, web technology standards (TCP-based protocols, Web technologies, Docker (or other container technologies, security technologies (i.e. PKI, AES, TLS, ...) are a strong asset.
