## Description

The company is a growing veterinary and animal-health organisation that is expanding its data team and are looking for a data engineer to join them. The role has a strong focus on Databricks, Python, SQL, and cloud-based data engineering, with plenty of scope to work on modern data architecture and large-scale data pipelines.

You'd be involved in:

 * Building and optimising scalable ETL/ELT pipelines.
 * Working with Databricks and Apache Spark to process and transform data.
 * Developing cloud-based data lakes, warehouses, and modern data platforms.
 * Integrating data from APIs, databases, SaaS applications, and other systems.
 * Developing data models to support analytics, reporting, forecasting, and AI initiatives.
 * Improving data quality, monitoring, governance, and overall platform reliability.
 * Working closely with engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders.
