Security & Governance - Experience working within regulated environments. - Knowledge of security, governance and compliance requirements. - Secure-by-design engineering principles. ## Description Hays are now looking for a Technical Consultant - Cloud Platform Engineering. * £615 p/d Inside IR35 * Remote (with a meeting once a month in London or Manchester) * 6 month+ contract * BPSS Our client is looking for a hands-on Cloud Platform Engineer to support the build and delivery of a secure, enterprise-scale AI platform within HMRC. Focused on cloud engineering, AI service integration, automation, platform reliability and productionising AI/ML solutions. Key Responsibilities - Build and deploy cloud-native AI platform components. - Translate architecture designs into production-ready solutions. - Develop scalable backend services, APIs and distributed systems. - Implement Infrastructure as Code and automated deployment processes. - Integrate AI services into enterprise applications and delivery pipelines. - Support production AI/ML workloads. - Ensure security, governance and compliance requirements are met. - Optimise platform performance, resilience and reliability.
