## About the Role

* Significant experience developing and debugging real-time software applications using C++.
 * Considerable experience with Rhapsody UML or another model-driven development tool.
 * Extensive experience developing functional and integration tests, including simulation and hardware testing.
 * Proven experience developing and testing software to requirements and ICDs.
 * Competence with MS Office tools and DOORS for reviewing and updating technical documentation.
 * Working understanding of configuration management tools such as RTC/EWM.
 * Knowledge of Python, Ada, or FreeRTOS would be highly beneficial.
 * We need a can-do attitude, a proactive and adaptable approach, and strong communication skills.

## Description

* Develop embedded real-time software on Linux using Rhapsody and C++ in a multi-threaded application against software requirements and ICDs.
 * Write unit and functional tests and carry out integration testing with target hardware.
 * Adhere to agreed project planning and project quality processes.
 * Use JIRA for project management and issue tracking.
 * Work in a lab environment running software on target hardware.
 * Contribute across the full software development life cycle and work with limited supervision.
