## About the Role

* We have a proven track record of success within a Data Engineering function.
 * We are looking for experience as a Data Engineering Manager or Principal / Lead Engineer with a strong track record.
 * We need excellent technical project management experience with Agile / Scrum.
 * We want experience in the successful delivery of data platforms and data products.
 * We need a strong understanding of data fundamentals including ETL / Data Warehousing / Data Modelling.
 * We want experience with DevOps and Agile; Azure DevOps would be a major plus.
 * We need strong problem solving and analytical skills.
 * We want a good understanding of cloud data platforms such as GCP / Azure / AWS.
 * We require the ability to communicate, document, present, and interact at all levels of the business up to Exec level.
 * A basic DBS check is mandatory for this position.

## Description

* We oversee all aspects of product development.
 * We act as a primary point of contact with stakeholders and Product Owners.
 * We oversee estimating and billing for all resources used.
 * We provide timely and effective communication on progress or issues.
 * We actively manage all risks, issues, and key decisions for our products.
 * We identify and understand business requirements and strategic business drivers.
 * We ensure quality and governance processes are followed and our standards are met.
 * We lead, coach, and develop a team to consistently deliver the highest standards of service required by the business.
