You'll be someone who likes understanding why something isn't working, investigating the underlying data, finding a solution and seeing it through to completion. If you enjoy C#, technical problem solving, data, application support and variety, I'd be interested in hearing from you. ## Description Are you a C#/.NET developer who enjoys solving technical problems, working with data and supporting real-world applications? I'm looking for a C# Developer to join a small, growing technical team in Stevenage. This is a varied role combining C# development, application support, testing and client-facing technical problem solving. You won't be spending your days building front-end applications. Instead, you'll work across data-driven solutions, production requests, troubleshooting, testing and client projects using a Microsoft technology stack as well as building new tools and functionality for clients. It's a great opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, takes ownership of technical problems and wants to see the direct impact of their work. What you'll be doing * Develop and maintain applications and solutions using C#/.NET * Investigate and resolve technical issues through the application support helpdesk * Work on client production requests and support the regular processing of data * Test software, investigate bugs and help ensure solutions are reliable before release * Work with clients and third-party suppliers to resolve technical issues and deliver projects * Work with XML to process and manipulate data * Use SQL Server to investigate data, understand relationships and write basic queries, It would be useful if you have experience with one or more of the following: XSL-FO, NoSQL, Data integration involving XML, XPath, CSV or positional files, JSON, ASP.NET MVC, Blazor, .NET Core, Service Layers, REST APIs, PDF layout / typography, LINQ to XML, large scale data processing systems and software development or testing methodologies. You don't need to have every desirable skill. I'm interested in people who have a strong core C#/.NET background and are comfortable learning new technologies.
