## Description

To provide technical and administrative support for the Building Control service, ensuring efficient delivery of validation, financial, and IT-related functions. The role involves managing technical support tasks, maintaining compliance with building regulations, and optimising IT systems for service delivery., * Validate building regulations applications, notices, and fee calculations, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.

 * Manage financial processes, including invoicing, payment chasing, and purchase orders.
 * Optimise the use of IT systems, including document management, GIS, and web-based tools.
 * Process property enquiries for building regulation approvals and certificates.
 * Provide guidance and support to Technical Support Officers and contribute to service improvements.
 * Maintain filing systems and administrative procedures to ensure compliance with legislation and best practices.
 * Handle enquiries and correspondence (written, telephone, or face-to-face) and direct customers appropriately.
 * Assist with financial and performance data collation and verification.
