Professional Oracle certifications are strongly recommended. ## Description TSG, Inc. is seeking a Senior Oracle Database Administrator to support the U.S. Government Publishing Office (GPO). This position will provide database administration, development, and maintenance as part of a four-person SQL and Oracle team supporting enterprise applications. Responsibilities * Administer and configure Oracle databases across on-premises and cloud systems, including Oracle Grid and Oracle RMAN technologies. * Diagnose complex Oracle database and application integration issues; tune database performance and support PL/SQL development. * Plan and execute installations, upgrades, patching, and maintenance through approved change procedures. * Support backup and recovery strategies using Oracle RMAN, high availability, disaster recovery planning, and recovery testing. * Monitor database health and capacity with the team's monitoring tools, including Idera and SolarWinds as applicable. * Manage ServiceNow incidents and change requests through closure; document resolutions and provide weekly activity reports., Demonstrated expertise across SQL, SQL Server, SQL Clustering, SQL scripting, Oracle, PL/SQL, Oracle Grid, Oracle RMAN, PostgreSQL, MySQL, MariaDB, and MS Access. Work includes database support for application integrations such as SharePoint. Schedule and Equipment Work remotely under GPO IT security policies, with eight hours of daily availability within the 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. core window.
