You can identify and implement ways to harden systems and reduce their attack surface. What if you could use your cyber engineering skills to design and develop secure systems for Navy and Marine Corps? We're looking for an engineer who can create solutions for government that will withstand even the most advanced cyber threats. As a system security engineer at Booz Allen, you'll support mission-critical cybersecurity and systems security engineering efforts for the expeditionary and combat platforms responsible for shaping key requirements, system integration, and delivering secure, resilient systems to the fleet. You'll coordinate work with inhouse teams and OEMs to identify the right mix of tools and techniques to translate your client's IT needs and future goals into a plan that will enable secure and effective solutions. We need to come up with the best solutions, so you'll investigate new techniques, break free from the legacy model, and go where the industry is going. You'll lead the team through a critical approach to network design, providing alternatives and customizing solutions, to maintain a balance of security and operational mission needs. This is a chance to make a difference in the security of expeditionary and maritime systems. Your technical expertise will be vital as you help customers overcome their most difficult challenges by integrating secure practices like zero-trust principles and proactive threat-mitigation strategies to safeguard complex government system. You'll apply systems security engineering practices tailored for Naval systems to build secure-by-design capabilities, enhance technical resilience, and ensure secure delivery of mission systems to warfighters. You'll be able to broaden your skill set into areas like defining the next generation of the Navy's fleet through end-to-end vulnerability lifecycle management and acquisition system authorization activities, ensuring the platform meets rigorous Department of War (DoW) security standards and maintaining compliance across their operational lifespan while building peace of mind in a critical infrastructure. ## Related Videos - [Improving quality with Agentic AI with Rovo Dev and Xray](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/2005-improving-quality-with-agentic-ai-with-rovo-dev-and-xray) - [Security Pitfalls for Software Engineers](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/726-security-pitfalls-for-software-engineers) - [Fighting the Next Wave of Cybercrime](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/100331-fighting-the-next-wave-of-cybercrime) - [42 x 2 Canvases Later: Two Years, Two Minds, Many Lessons](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1458-42-x-2-canvases-later-two-years-two-minds-many-lessons) - [A Founder's Journey : From Startup Chaos to Purposeful Growth](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1926-a-founder-s-journey-from-startup-chaos-to-purposeful-growth) - [Deep Fakes: The Lies We Can’t See](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1187-deep-fakes-the-lies-we-can-t-see) ## Related Articles - [Events like RSAC Get You CISOs.
