firewall experience across Fortinet, Palo Alto, Meraki, and/or SonicWall * Security: MFA/SSO (Duo), endpoint protection, Conditional Access, DNS filtering, and familiarity with SIEM or MDR tooling * Infrastructure: VMware, backup and disaster recovery * MSP platforms: ConnectWise PSA and NinjaOne (or equivalent RMM), * 5+ years in Windows and Microsoft 365 environments, including multi-site Active Directory / Entra ID work; MSP or similar multi-client experience strongly preferred * Ability to design and troubleshoot networks: WAN/LAN, switching, routing, firewalls, VPN, DNS, and DHCP * Clear communication with non-technical clients-in person, by phone, and in writing * Proven ownership of complex issues and small-to-mid projects without step-by-step direction * Willingness to work onsite in the Clearwater/Tampa/St Petersburg areas and share after-hours/on-call coverage * Valid driver's license and ability to pass a background check Nice-to-haves * Hands-on UniFi, ConnectWise PSA, and NinjaOne (or another RMM) * Experience with Duo, Huntress or similar MDR/endpoint tools, and DNS filtering * Project lead or mentoring experience in a multi-client environment * Current certs such as AZ-104, MS-102, Security+, Network+, CCNA, or a major firewall vendor cert * PowerShell or other automation used to standardize builds and reduce repeat work ## Description * Take ownership of complex incidents and problems across Windows Server, Microsoft 365, Azure, networking, and security-diagnose root cause and leave the environment more stable than you found it. * Design and implement changes to identity, network, and security: Entra ID and Conditional Access, firewalls and VPN, DNS/DHCP, and endpoint protection. * Lead client projects such as tenant and server migrations, new-site builds, firewall replacements, and virtualization or backup upgrades. * Advise clients and internal stakeholders on practical options, risk, and effort before work starts. * Work onsite in the Clearwater/Tampa/St Petersburg areas for scheduled maintenance, projects, and consulting. * Write and maintain environment documentation, standards, and runbooks so the next engineer can execute without starting over. * Mentor other engineers through design reviews and tough tickets;
