## About the Role

* TS/SCI eligible security clearance.
 * Ability to work onsite in San Diego, CA.
 * Ability to travel approximately 20%.
 * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
 * At least six (6) years of relevant professional experience, with at least two (2) years of specific experience with cloud architecture, distributed systems, platform engineering, DevSecOps, and related areas.
 * Experience providing technical leadership and communicating architecture and technical recommendations.
 * Experience designing secure cloud and hybrid architectures.
 * Experience with AWS and/or Azure, including government cloud environments.
 * Experience with containerized environments, including Kubernetes and Docker.
 * Experience with infrastructure as code, automation, configuration management, and CI/CD.
 * Strong understanding of cloud networking, identity, storage, compute, security, and monitoring.
 * Experience supporting secure government or regulated environments.
 * Experience with cybersecurity requirements, vulnerability management, system hardening, and compliance., * Experience with AWS GovCloud and Azure Government.
 * Experience with AWS and Azure cloud services supporting compute, storage, networking, identity, security, and monitoring.
 * Experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, YAML, JSON, and Git.

## Description

* Lead the design and implementation of secure cloud, hybrid, and edge-to-cloud architectures.
 * Support AWS Government, Azure Government, on-premises, and tactical computing environments.
 * Design and support multi-classification, cross-domain, and multi-level environments.
 * Lead modernization of cloud and platform environments.
 * Develop and support DevSecOps and infrastructure-as-code practices.
 * Support CI/CD, automation, configuration management, and secure deployment processes.
 * Design and support containerized environments and distributed systems.
 * Apply DoD cloud standards and security requirements.
 * Support Zero Trust, RMF, STIG, vulnerability management, patching, and secure configuration requirements.
 * Provide technical leadership for architecture, planning, technical reviews, risk assessments, and trade studies.
 * Provide technical briefings and communicate technical recommendations to stakeholders.
 * Troubleshoot and resolve complex cloud, platform, networking, and infrastructure issues.
