Required Certifications * OSHA 30 * EM 385-1-1 * CQM (Construction Quality Management) Knowledge of government project management systems such as RMS and ECMS is preferred. Technical Skills * Microsoft Office * Procore or similar construction/project management software * PDF/document management software * Ability to learn and utilize project-specific software and systems, * Must be eligible to work in the United States. * Certain projects may require U.S. citizenship based on contract requirements. * Must be able to successfully complete a background check and drug screening. * Certain federal projects may require additional badging and security procedures, including background checks. Note: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the position ## Description We are seeking an experienced Superintendent (Data Center Experience) to oversee construction site operations from project planning through completion. The Superintendent will provide hands-on field leadership, coordinate subcontractors and vendors, maintain project schedules, ensure quality and safety standards, and work closely with Project Managers, clients, architects, engineers, and other project stakeholders., * Oversee and coordinate daily construction activities and field operations. * Work with architects, engineers, consultants, and project teams during pre-development and project planning. * Assist the Project Manager in developing construction baseline schedules and sequencing critical-path activities. * Prepare and maintain weekly project lookaheads aligned with the approved project schedule. * Coordinate subcontractors and vendors to ensure timely completion of contracted work. * Supervise daily subcontractor, supplier, and vendor activities, including material deliveries and site access. * Monitor work for compliance with contract documents, approved submittals, drawings, specifications, and quality requirements. * Perform quality control inspections and assist with submittal reviews. * Ensure subcontractors are fully executing their contracted scope of work. * Lead weekly subcontractor coordination meetings. * Coordinate required inspections with local, state, and federal authorities. * Identify safety, health, environmental, quality, and scheduling issues and take appropriate corrective action. * Identify construction conflicts and coordinate resolutions with subcontractors, the Project Manager, and management. * Maintain a thorough understanding of project drawings, specifications, contracts, and general conditions. * Ensure materials and completed work meet project specifications and quality standards. * Maintain accurate daily reports documenting site activities and project progress. * Track and ensure correction of deficiencies identified during inspections or management reviews. * Monitor project progress and participate in regular meetings with accounting and management. * Issue notices of non-compliance when subcontractors fail to meet quality or schedule requirements. * Coordinate with the Project Manager regarding back charges and additional work. * Assist with budgeting, bidding, and subcontractor/vendor selection when required. * Maintain project documentation, including submittals, safety data sheets, operating manuals, approvals, permits, and other project records. * Manage Superintendent responsibilities across multiple job sites when necessary. * Open and secure job sites at the beginning and end of each workday. * Conduct regular job-site walks to monitor progress, quality, safety, and upcoming work. * Review subcontractor and supplier extra charges for accuracy and coordinate approvals with the Project Manager. * Assist with the review and processing of material and subcontractor requisitions. * Mentor and develop junior field staff. * Perform other duties as assigned based on project needs., Service * Create excellent experiences for internal teams and external stakeholders. * Recognize your role and work collaboratively toward collective success. Supervisory Responsibilities This position is responsible for supervising personnel and field teams assigned to the project. Work Environment & Physical Requirements This position is primarily performed in an active construction environment and may involve exposure to: * Outdoor weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, and wind * Dust, fumes, asphalt, and airborne particles * Moving mechanical equipment * Noise and vibration * Electrical hazards * Potential exposure to chemicals or other job-site hazards The position requires the ability to: * Walk and stand for extended periods. * Climb stairs and navigate active construction sites. * Reach with hands and arms. * Use hands and fingers to operate tools and equipment. * Communicate effectively and hear at normal levels. * Lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. * Perform work requiring close, distance, peripheral, and depth vision. Work Schedule Construction projects operate under strict schedules. The Superintendent may be required to work evenings, weekends, or additional hours when necessary to meet project deadlines.
