## About the Role

* Strong Java development skills
 * Familiarity with both SQL and NoSQL databases (Cassandra in particular)
 * Knowledge of Distributed systems design and architecture
 * Experience with Apache Flink is a significant plus
 * Strong communication skills
 * The candidate must be comfortable debugging and troubleshooting complex distributed systems and proposing actionable solutions under pressure
 * Availability for evening calls until 9-10 pm EEST

## Description

* Developing and modifying backend Java code to implement new features and enhance existing functionality
 * Building integrations between the Combiner control plane and internal ASE services and platforms, including Cassandra, Kafka, and ACOS
 * Investigating and resolving production issues using Splunk and other monitoring and logging tools
 * Providing ongoing production support for systems and responding to incidents in a timely manner
 * Assisting customers in onboarding to the Combiner platform by understanding their use cases and guiding them through available tooling and capabilities
